The Shoe Fit Process

Don’t just buy a pair of running shoes. Buy the right pair of running shoes.

Getting the right fit takes time.

Here’s the shoe fit process we walk you through — to make sure you walk out with the right pair of shoes.

Shoe wear analysis.

We first take a look at your old running shoes and look at how they broke down.

Foot measurement.

Next we measure the overall length, arch length, and width, and look at the curvature of the foot.

Unsupported gait analysis.

We watch you walk with no shoes on to see you foot in its most natural state.

Selection of shoe choices.

We base this on your measurements, gait analysis, and personal experiences that you tell us about.

Gait analysis in each shoe.

We will have you run or walk in the running shoes and watch you on the treadmill, outside, or around the store. We use our Good Form Running training to establish fit and function as well as give you pointers on form which will influence the proper shoe selection.

Up to you to choose!

We help you along the way giving you advice but the final choice is also based on your comfort with the shoe.

“Great experience! I had never been fitted for a show before, the staff was incredibly patient and listened to my concerns. I ended up with a fantastic pair of shoes that feel great and really fit my feet.”
