New Balance “Summer of Speed” Race Series with Pro Bike + Run Robinson

About this Event
This event is the kickoff of our Summer of Speed race series presented by New Balance. Each month, one of our stores will be hosting a free and fun race for all comers. This months race will be a 4 mile race on the Montour Trail. Come on out, bring your friends and push for that elusive PR.
Pick a team
When you register be sure to indicate which store team you’re racing for: Squirrel Hill, Robinson, Monroeville, or North Park. If you’re a regular participant at our store runs, bring some friends! If you don’t normally participate in store runs, pick your favorite Pro Bike + Run store and come join us for some fun. All runners are welcome.
Attend a Race
Each month, one of our stores will host a free race event on their home turf. These are four distinct events around the Pittsburgh area – it’s a chance to run somewhere new and earn a new PR!
With each event, you’ll earn points just for showing up! Score 1 point for the first race you attend, 2 points for the second, 3 points for the third, and 4 points if you make it to all four races in the series. That’s 10 total points won for your team just for traveling to all four events.You can also win points for your team by placing! Win 6 points for 1st place, 5 points for 2nd, 4 points for 3rd, and so on, in both men’s and women’s divisions. Track meet scoring will be further explained the night of the race.
Each week, we’ll keep our competing teams up to date so you can see who’s in the lead…The team with the most accumulated points at the end of the race series in September will win a New Balance store party for their participating runners!!!
