What do you love about riding and/or running?
I enjoy being outside with the air rushing by. Love the sport primarily for fitness and my need for speed. Also, I enjoy the camaraderie of the group ride.

What are your non-cycling interests?
Ride and race my bikes. Read a lot about varied topics. Enjoy staying up with blogs, podcasts and other channels for the latest in bicycle fitting. Also, enjoy driving fast cars and spending time with family.

What bike do you currently ride?
Specialized Venge Pro, Giant Propel, and a Cervelo Time Trail Bike

What shoes do you run in?
Sorry don’t run much…

What experience do you have in the industry?
I’ve been an amateur bicycle racer since 2002. Was a certified Level 2 USA Cycling Coach and ran a coaching business for seven years. Also was a certified personal trainer and strength and conditioning specialist. I am self-taught in kinesiology and biomechanics, and am a Guru and F.I.S.T. bicycle fitting certified, Level 2 Body Geometry and Retul Certified Bicycle Fitter. I have also attended SBCU’s Retail Excellence Program.

Where is your favorite place to ride or run?
Four or five 40 to 50 mile loops heading north from my home into southern Butler County. Very little traffic, nicely paved roads and lovely countryside. It’s nice to get out there by yourself…great mental therapy.

Who or what inspires you?
The people that I work with and being able to have a positive impact on someone’s life.

Who would you most like to swap places with for a day?
No one…very happy with my life right now.

Somewhere you’ve never been, but would love to visit?
Probably Germany, to explore family origins
